Jones' Pier Conservation Area

Jones' Pier Conservation Area is a captivating historic site nestled along the Jungle Trail. This 6.5-acre park, part of the original Jones family property, offers visitors a glimpse into the past with its charming 1930s and 1940s structures, including a fruit stand and cottage. The area features a paved and wooden dock that winds around a salt marsh, providing excellent opportunities for bird and wildlife watching. While fishing is permitted on the pier, pets are not allowed, although there is a dog watering station near the Indian River dock. The park is well-maintained with clean restrooms, picnic areas, and porch swings, making it a delightful spot for a leisurely visit.
