Passage Key

Passage Key, officially called “Passage Key National Wildlife Refuge,” is approximately one mile from the Skyway Bridge, off Anna Maria Island. It used to be a small island that disappeared at high tide, but it is now a lovely, exposed island of sand rising from the sea, with sand like spun sugar and the clearest of waters.
