It’s also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with shorebirds to be discovered nesting in the dunes. A family-friendly island with lots of activities, you can kayak, swim, and snorkel, and, as its name promises, the island is littered with thousands of beautiful shells, including periwinkles, moon snails, sand dollars, conch shells, and pink shells.
