Renovated in 2017, this public dock is both spacious and scenic. It can welcome about 10 boats at a time and also features a shady pavilion. Only a five-minute walk from Old Town Bluffton, this dock is situated in a prime location for your adventures on land after a day on the water. Wright Family Park is a picturesque haven located on the edge of the May River, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. This family-friendly park is perfect for a relaxing day outdoors, with its beautiful scenery, painted rocks, and a dock that extends into the water. Visitors can enjoy the sound of nature and the fresh river air while resting on wooden benches or swinging under a grand oak tree. The May River Sandbar is the ultimate lifestyle boating destination in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. Accessible only by boat, it completely exposes at low tide, creating a massive playground of soft sand where boaters anchor, socialise, and play games. It's the perfect spot to experience Lowcountry vibes up close.

This is the only boat launch on the Colleton River, but there is ample parking here. The water can be rough due to the location, so it's wise to check conditions before going in or out. This landing is right in the heart of the beautiful Lowcountry communities of Okatie and Colleton River. These serene towns are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Hilton Head, so locals can enjoy a quiet yet vibrant life.

This is the only public dock at Palmetto Bluff, a refined yet welcoming town. This community consists of stunning southern homes, upscale restaurants, and a lively social scene. Residents of Palmetto Bluff have the opportunity to live surrounded by nature, with state-of-the-art amenities.

This park offers a nice boat ramp, but its amenities are more noteworthy. The surrounding grassy area is beautiful, with a pavilion, picnic tables, a firepit, and public restroom facilities. Parking is not an issue here, which is always a plus. The park is also home to the Garvin-Garvey House, where you can take a tour of the only house still standing on the May River which was previously owned by freed slaves.

The Alljoy Boat Landing provides access to both the May River and Calibogue Sound, and is a popular spot due to the ease of putting a boat in the water. Keep in mind that the water can be a bit rough due to the dock's location in the channel. Another thing to note is that parking is limited at this location due to its popularity.
